The Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. K. B. Sharlapaev spoke at the event. Among the guests of honour were the First Vice President of PDAC Karen Rees and Senator Victor O. The representatives of major Kazakhstan geology exploration companies were also present at the ceremony.
The main objective was to develop economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and other attendees of the exhibition. The General Director of Qazaq Geophysics Mr B. Aukeshev stressed that the Pavilion will become the platform for exchanging experiences and finding new partners in the mining industry.
During the exhibition a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding was signed between Qazaq Geophysics and Expert Geophysics Limited in representing the latter company in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
This opens new opportunities for cooperation and conducting geophysical research, exchange of experience and investments.
