Hassan ALMarzouki is an engineering geologist and has vast knowledge of Saudi mineral resources, mineral exploration, industry, and mining sectors based on manufacturing industry over 28 years experience. He is leading numerous tasks which help the Saudi Geological Survey to accomplish Saudi government’s goals & improve minerals industries & mining sector.
Recently, Hassan’s work & research are focusing on mineral industry, critical & strategic minerals Geo-energy minerals and waste management.
Hassan is a member in national and international committees and societies, also a member in some governmental committees, former board member of Saudi Society of Geoscience (SSG) as well as member of EGRM at UNECE, fellow membership at Geological Society of London.
ALMarzouki is now working as Director General, Planning & Development for Saudi Geological Survey. Our duty is to set and supervise the long and short terms strategic planning for all SGS’s projects, organisation development, Institutional excellence, and business development Additionally, it is also leading the SGS’s privatisation team.
