Conrad is Hatch’s Managing Director for minerals. He has +25 years’ experience in project delivery across a multitude of commodities and geographies. He gained experience on both the owner and EPCM side of the project development fence. These different perspectives gave him exposure ranging from business and investment development and project implementation for both engineering and owner project teams.
Prior to his appointment as a Managing Director for minerals, Conrad held various leadership roles for Hatch in the Africa Europe and Middle east region that included global directorship for titanium, diamonds, etc. Conrad has also served in executive roles on the asset owner side. In this regard, Conrad acted as the Vice President for Ivanhoe Mines in South Africa. Conrad is passionate about critical minerals and energy transition, and dedicates much of his time to rare earth elements and lithium.
