Alex Simakov is an energy policy specialist and Special Advisor to the Net Zero Reliability Initiative. He has served as Policy Advisor to the Province of Ontario’s former Minister of Energy, Northern Development & Mines MENDM), led the Energy & Environment Research Unit at Policy Exchange in the United Kingdom, and consulted for many of Canada’s largest clean energy and resource development companies. He has an economics degree from McGill University
